Sky's the limit for York House trio

MANAGER Cheryl Green and two of her York House team hurled themselves into the skies above Mirfield in a crazy charity stunt at the weekend.

Cheryl, together with senior carer Amanda Smith, carer Katie Read and friend Sue Cunningham, was catapulted hundreds of feet into the air in a bungee ball, at the Ship Inn on Steanard Lane on Sunday.

The courageous quartet raisied over £700 for the children's kidney unit at St James' Hospital in Leeds for taking part in the daring feat.

"The bungee was just great," said a breathless Cheryl on her return to terra firma. "I'd advise every one to have a go!"

"We had a brilliant day, and we have raised a total of £605.00 with another £100.00 to follow."
