September Open Days

25 September 2015 News
Many of our homes opened their doors for the bi-annual Open Day at the end of September and received positive feedback from the residents, staff and local communities who visited and enjoyed tea and cake together. This was another opportunity for the public to see all the good work that goes on behind the doors of their local care home and to foster new relationships. We are proud of our care homes and want the families and friends of our residents and the community around them to feel as connected as possible. Tracey Tomlinson, head of customer experience , Orchard Care Homes, said “We’re really pleased to have seen yet another successful Open Day weekend and we are grateful to those homes that took part. We feel strongly that our homes and their residents should be an important part of their local community, generating solid links for the benefit of all.” “Opening our doors to the public and having a little celebration really offers our residents something to look forward to, giving an opportunity for connections outside the home and also offering an insight into what life in like at the home, showcasing some of the excellent facilities and provisions we offer.”
